PuraTerra is a Market Development Firm in the sustainable building products industry. A Market Development Firm should serve multiple audiences and provides what we call “holistic value”. Our approach to increasing manufacturer revenue is based on a holistic model that encompasses the entire sustainable building “ecosystem”. While focusing on particular target audiences such as developers, architects and building owners we also create relationships with other entities that influence the purchase of our manufacturer partners’ products.

We only work with manufacturers that significantly and measurably reduce carbon footprint while providing an economically-based value proposition to our design and construction customers. Our business practices and processes are as sustainable as the products we represent.


Reporting and Metrics

We provide our manufacturer partners with detailed activity reports and furnish updates on a regular basis. This provides excellent on-going visibility into our efforts. In this regard, we are truly acting as an extension of their staff. One of PuraTerra’s core principles is to make ourselves as easily manageable as possible for our clients, since we are acutely aware that many manufacturers get frustrated with rep firms and independent contractors who lack accountability and responsibility.

We quantify our own success based on the success we bring to our manufacturers as well as our positive impact on the environment. We model everything we do based on the triple bottom line philosophy: people, planet and profit.

We guarantee performance based on specific metrics agreed upon with our manufacturer partners. Since our relationships are performance-based and customized for each partner we serve, they never pay for anything they don’t want or need. The risk to a manufacturer of doing business with PuraTerra is as close to negligible as it can possibly be.


Technical Expertise

All of our Territory Managers (TM’s) have strong technical backgrounds in the industry (all holding certifications and advanced degrees in the industry), which gives us credibility when dealing with relevant industry decision makers who typically demand a certain level of product knowledge and general understanding of sustainable construction.

We understand all of the dynamics associated with the construction of sustainable buildings. Our team is uniquely skilled in a wide spectrum of functions including technical expertise across product categories. We specialize in pioneering lines to increase sales and specifications for what we deem are the best, though maybe not best known, sustainable technologies available on the market.


Sales Sophistication

PuraTerra’s model is based on the integrated manner in which we conduct our sales efforts. We understand all of the dynamics associated with the construction of sustainable buildings, so we know how to work with all of the parties involved from the initial stages through specification to product procurement.
